AI-assisted automation of dental applications

As a participant at IDS 2023 in Cologne, it once again became clear that automation is strongly on the rise in the dental industry.

Chimaera has many years of experience in the field of 2D and 3D radiology. Already since 2016, we have been developing AI solutions for our customers to support diagnosis, to create CAD models from CT patient data or for automated planning in the field of orthopedic implantology.

This experience has enabled us to develop AI solutions quickly and cost-effectively for dental applications. We train individual AI supported segmentations of anatomical structures such as jaw bones, single tooth instances and nerve canals as well as objects such as crowns, bridges and implants or for finding pathologies based on customer’s data. We provide our own dental annotation team, our process-oriented Chimaera annotation software for 2D X-rays and 3D DVTs, and our highly experienced development team. With this powerful combination, Chimaera can develop customized dental solutions for our customers in a very short time.

We develop robust and sophisticated AI solutions for 2D and 3D applications. Especially for demanding 3D applications, we offer true 3D DNN solutions for high quality three-dimensional results. In addition, we have experience with AI guidelines for FDA and CE approval and can thus actively support the certification process.
